White Oak Kitchen Table

Quartersawn White Oak - one of the staples of finely crafted furniture. When hand-selecting local hardwood the way we did with this, you find the most beautiful and subtle sunburst flecks and patterns for your finished piece. This was a kitchen table that was once again purpose-built. Client wanted a thick table top and a custom steel frame with equal heft that gave the family lots of space. The top is just over 2" and is 4' x 5.5' in size.
Top is finished in Old Masters water-based matte and the custom base was from 3" and 2" square steel in a matte black powder coat.
